Board & Train

Board & Train programs are intentionally kept small to ensure every dog receives individualized attention and a customized training plan. Dogs live in our home as part of my personal pack, allowing for training opportunities throughout the day rather than just during scheduled sessions. Situated on 5 fully fenced acres in Canyon Lake, Texas, dogs receive daily structure, real exposure, and hands on guidance designed to create lasting results.

Private Lessons

Private lessons offer personalized, one on one coaching tailored to your dog’s individual needs and your training goals. Sessions can be held on our 5 fully fenced acres in Canyon Lake, Texas, or in the comfort of your own home, allowing training to take place where it matters most. Whether you’re starting with a new puppy, building obedience, or addressing behavioral concerns, private lessons provide the guidance and support needed to achieve lasting results.

Yes, I have vast experience working with all different breeds, sizes, and drives. My personal dogs range from Belgian Malinois to a German Shepherd & a Chihuahua!

Absolutely, my programs are designed to address specific behavior and individual issues. I specialize in working with dogs with fear and/or aggression.

My name is Roa Al-Saleh, and with over 18 years of canine experience, I am dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build clear communication, confidence, and lasting results. Every dog is an individual and training should reflect that. Whether working with a young puppy, a working dog, a family companion, or a dog struggling with severe behavioral challenges, my approach is tailored to the specific needs of each dog and owner.

My background began with shelter dogs and has since expanded to include puppy development, advanced obedience, behavior modification, working dogs, scent work, sport obedience, and rehabilitation of reactivity and aggression cases. I also spent several years as a professional groomer, where I specialized in helping fearful and behaviorally challenging dogs develop a more positive relationship with the grooming process.

Today, Land Shark K9 Training operates on five fully fenced acres in Canyon Lake, Texas, offering personalized Board & Train programs and private lessons designed to create reliable results while strengthening the bond between dogs and their families.
